Uploading additional documents for an application

Application related documents should be uploaded via Apply Online at the time of application, but if you need to upload documents after an application has been submitted (this will only be available after you receive a receipt letter for your application from UNSW), you will need to upload them to myUNSW via Web Single Sign On, not Apply Online.

You will need your UNSW login ID (i.e. 'z1234567') and UniPass to log into myUNSW. To get your UniPass, please go to UNSW Identity Manager (IDM) and follow the setup instructions.

If you are a recognised UNSW Agent you will need to get the UNSW login ID and UniPass plus permission to access their account from your applicant before you can use this service.

Application Tracking

To track the status of your application after it has been submitted via Apply Online (this will only be available after you receive a receipt letter for your application from UNSW), use your UNSW login ID (i.e. 'z1234567') and UniPass to log into myUNSW via Web Single Sign On.

If you are a recognised UNSW Agent you will need to get the UNSW login ID and UniPass plus permission to access their account from your applicant before you can use this service.

Once logged in you will be able to view:

  • The University's current record of your mailing address, email and telephone number
  • The progress of your application(s), including any outstanding documentation you are required to send to the University
  • Any comments from the Admissions Office related to your application(s)
  • If an offer to study has been made, details of any credit transfer you have been granted or academic courses that you are required to study

You will also be able to upload any additional documents required to process your application.

Who can use this service?

This service is for prospective students who have already submitted an application to study at UNSW Australia or UNSW Canberra, either directly or through an agent.


Duration of access to myUNSW

Applicants are granted access to their own record for the duration of the relevant admissions period.

If you do not enrol as a new student your myUNSW access will expire after the start of the semester that you applied for. If you enrol you will have myUNSW access for as long as you remain a student at UNSW.

If all of your applications have been denied or cancelled your access will be discontinued a few weeks after that decision is made.
